Love the Sci-fi style of this. Seems like the intro to a movie about a world gone wrong.

I'm sorry I know it's a problem for everyone no matter your body type. And I don't know nor do I care what you look like but, I think you're perfect :)

Screw the beauty industry! There is nothing wrong with skinny, fat, or average! I have seen GORGEOUS women that have weighed over 200lbs and ones who are about average that are gorgeous! I agree with ModMadness as well. I have been harassed for how skinny I am by larger set friends and it makes me feel horrible. I try to eat as much as I can to gain weight to look "normal"for other people but I have a hormone imbalance which makes it hard for me to gain weight. Big or petite, so what!

I don't see why it's bad to be pretty! I mean I'm totally against plastic surgery and diet pills and all that, but what's wrong with being pretty? I work out to stay thin and try hard to look my best. What's wrong with that?

We can all make a difference with two very straightforward actions. 1) eliminate all TV from children's' lives. 2) don't allow middle school children to have Facebook accounts.

Listening to the media's distortion of beauty is just like saying That casket fits you well. You do not have to be a pixie stick to be beautiful. I am a big girl myself, and i get many compliments on how beautiful i am, from both young and old people. Dont blame the media for your self-esteem issues, blame YOURSELF! Yes, the media portrays beauty as some stick thin girl with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and an eating disorder, but in the end the media doesnt force you to starve yourself.

AMEN. Lol Im skinny as and people feel the need to call me a 'skinny bitch, anorexic, do I ever eat? Real women have curves!' etc. Not helping, people. Yes the media is effing up standards of beauty- lets not contribute and support the hating on peoples looks.

slothcats Says:
Attractive people are everywhere. That's not really the point. The media distorts these images, edits them, and shows them unrealistically. And along with that, the media says "this is how you should look like, this is what's attractive, and if you don't look like this you must change." it's extremely damaging.
