Well except for the completely unrealistic emblem that's far off from any of the SEAL's Patches as well as the Uniforms and Tactics but yeah... and I don't see any fictional, unstoppable, characters (*cough* Soap, Price, etc. *cough*) in here either...

I know they are not ninjas, I am in training with some of them. I am just saying, they are publicity hoarders. You never hear of the hundreds of missions that Army Special Forces, MARSOC or CAG conducts, but you hear about every mission (successful) that SEALs do, well like 95% of them. The other 5% that DEVGRU (team 6) are usually kept under the covers.

Don't active duty SEALs have better things to do than make movies showing the world "realistic footage" of tactics, techniques and procedures that the Special Operations Forces community keeps guarded and STILL USES against enemies around the world. Army Spec Ops, silent professionals, not camera whores.

Ohh, thank you very much for the help. The Clint Eastwood's "twins" are on my list "must see" and Hurt Locker as well. I am not shure about Saving Private Ryan (Steven Spielberg is not my cup of tea, I like only his Duel and Munich) but I trust you - will try it. Completely forgotten I have seen The Longest Day, Thin Red Line and Das Boot. I like this "different" look on war.

You should REALLY see Saving Private Ryan, Hurt Locker, Letters From Iwo Jima, and Flags of our Fathers. Those are the kind of war films that show the horrors of war for not just America, but for the other countries too, such as Letters From Iwo Jima. They also show how arrogant and evil patriotism can be too in dire times of warfare.
