No I really am not a hardcore RT fan though I do like his music! I commented mainly over the fact of the arrest! I just think the cop wanted to arrest someone famous or he wanted 2 show his authority or something! I do not see how his being in the car was hurting anybody and when cops simply arrest just because it is a law then they should just arrest everyone because if I have learned anything about police officers it is the fact they can always find a reason to arrest you! sad

I have to say, you sound like a hardcore Randy Travis fan. Good for you. He's a icon in Country Music. I'm honestly not being sarcastic here. But I really and truly recognize that he's one of the all-time greats.

Sorry Im not ranting at U just at the fact that there is even a law of public intox! Why is there bars that sell alcohol to people who are going to drink it & walk outside in order to get home? And just so people know...it does not matter how much u drink 2 get public intox yet u can drive under .08%BAL! Does that make any sense to U? You can actually get a public intox on your own property!!! Bet most people don't know that! This country is has become a prison! freedom? where?

Did it say or did he say that he has a drinking problem? If not then just because he drank it doesn't mean he has a problem with alcohol! I think it is sad that cops are so freaking hard on people! This doesn't feel like a free country anymore! A lot of people drink and are in public and I bet there are a lot of officers who do just the same yet no one is arresting them for this stupid law! How many police come out of the F.O.P. and drive or just sit in the passenger seat?

I really honestly thought that the last old-school country western superstar that I would EVER suspect to have a drinking problem was Randy Travis. Really breaks your heart to know that he joins a LONG line of Country Western stars that were arrested for an alcohol-related crime. ;-(
