Well it's classic example of is the glass half full or empty? Ever since the inception of Chicago, all the way back to CTA, they have always had a grueling tour schedule. Cetera did not want to be a part of that lifestyle forever. It is my understanding that is one of the big reasons he left. He was talented enough as singer and writer to go solo and call his own shots, and he did!

Maybe not forced.. but he was pressured to choose between the band and his solo career. it is a shame as he was willing to juggle both. Most solo artists aren't willing to do that.

Could be, Pete has a very distinctive voice, and I didn´t know he was forced to leave the band.
Apr 13, 2008 kempaku982 Says:
Yeah I can't help thinking they were wrong to have pressured him to leave. Did their success falter because he left? Sorry I didnt pick up on your joke.

I know Kempaku, I was only jocking. I know Peter Cetera more for his solo career than with Chicago.
Apr 12, 2008 kempaku982 Says:
Dude, that's Peter Cetara not William Defoe. But I see the resemblance too
Apr 12, 2008 1minidisco Says:
