Hot water opens your scalp's pores so the coconut oil and olive oil can be soaked in your roots. Rinsing out with cold water the next day will close the pores and add shine.

CORRECTION!!!!!! it does seem like she said HOT towel but that wouldnt do any good to your hair..COLD water makes your hair shiny and smooth while HOT would make it frizzy.
