Christopher Reeve IS Superman. His memory forever lives on in the entire world's idea of who Superman is. In that respect, this is not so much Reeve's theme as it is Superman's in general. To NOT include this theme in Superman is almost a disservice to the character. I really, REALLY hope they do - even if it's re-recorded, or only a tiny snippet, and only appears once, even if it's at the end - I just want to hear that theme, so that I know I am watching Superman!

i get what you're saying. the characters good, they just cant seem to nail a good story for him, as far as comics go. i think he works better with the justice league, as opposed to solo.

do you? regular superman is overpowered enough without plot relevant immortality. and vulnerable enough without kryptonite as an asspull answer to his overpoweredness. he can be beaten simply by having an opponent with enough power to actually wear him out, which is exactly what they did all the time on the powerpuff girls. best superman idea: no kryptonite, no plot devices, just an epic smashfest till one of them wears out. when i see that then ill acknowledge superman's awesomeness.

also dbz isn't part of the cartoon network universe. it's anime and that has a whole different level of overpowered. were talking about galaxy sized mechas litterally fueled by awesome. magical girls becoming deities and bending the rules of space and time just to say F-U to their opponents. complex schemes that would make a even a supergenius lose track if he wasn't at least over a hundred years old.
