I bought Lilac Pastelle when it first came out and totally agree that it's an absolute nightmare to get 'just right'! A ridge filling basecoat helps and because it takes soooo long to dry I invested in quick dry spray. Why this formulation is so disappointing I have no idea, Revlon polishes are usually a dream. Looks like you had fun shopping!

Revlon wins it for me too in the drugstore category. My secret for applying the nailpolishes is to do it on a night when I have 2 hours of tv in a row (like tonight with Pretty Little Liars and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.) I apply the first coat when the show starts and sit and watch for 30 mins, apply the second coat, watch for 30, apply the clear topcoat, finish watching. I have found they will last 9 days easy doing that most of the time. Great haul! :) Shannon
