The Kyosho DMT GP is the latest in the line of the "D" series ReadySet vehicles, which features a universal platform and many common parts shared between each of the vehicles in the series. This make it easier for your hobby shop to stock replacement and aftermarket parts, and the universal parts used on each individual chassis also makes it easier for the owner of a "D" series vehicle to carry enough parts to perform most repairs because one part with generally fit in multiple locations. One uppper and lower suspension arm, for example, will allow repair of and corner of the suspension. Likewise with the shocks, hubs, knuckles, outboard driveshafts, front and rear differentials, bulkheads, shock towers and body mounts. One of the most significant developments for this truck is that it receives the new Syncro 2.4 GHz radio. It's not just an RTR radio that has minimal features, it's got features that make it ideal for use in just about any vehicle. It features interference-free operation, fail safe, steering dual rate, throttle EPA, servo reversing, a battery level indicator, and The DMT GP features an updated GXR-18SP engine that features a new lazer-etched cooling head that improves cooling. It also features a 1/8-style racing clutch with aluminum clutch shoes, which produces much stronger acceleration and more spirited overall performance. A large 103cc fuel tank provides run times of typically 10 minutes per tank, and the spring-loaded quick-fill lid allows refueling while the engine is running, so you can enjoy driving the DMT GP for hours if desired. The drivetrain features a sophisticated three differential system that ensure the best possible traction and handling is all conditions. The center differential is fitting with double disc brakes that are adjustable to permit brake bias to suit conditions or driving preferences. The shaft drive system is very durable and efficient, which makes it ideal for maximum performance and minimal maintenance. The suspension features big-bore shocks and double A-arm suspension with pivot ball hubs. The upper arms, lower arms, shocks, knuckles, hubs and driveshafts are all universal, so just one of each item can cover any repair of the suspension. The suspension arms are specially designed to flex a little more than normal, which means the DMT GP can take a significant impact with less likelihood of damage. Likewise, special bumper braces are designed to flex under impact, absorbing the majority of th The DMT GP is fully factory-assembled with radio installed and the body fully trimmed, painted and detailed right out of the box. You simply need to add 8 AA-Alkaline batteries (four for the transmitter, four for the receiver), fill the tank with model engine fuel, and let 'er rip! Less

I suppose it's possible, but I can't be sure.
TheFluffyVanquisher Says:
Could you mount a larger fuel tank?
probenneschannel Says:
is it 4 wheel drivde or just 2
SPRCVIDEO Says:
@michael9515 No, some fuels produce more smoke than others, which is why I don't recommend using the amount of "blue smoke" as any indicator for your fuel mixture setting. It's basically irrelevant. I suggest setting the mixture by how the engine performs. It's the only criteria that matters, and all the other factors come into line when the engine is performing its best.

Guys arent you running too lean?? I dont see any blue smoke... =/

i rather buy the kyosho MFR uver this one. MFR are much more advance in terms of the kit itself even though its a late model compared to DMT. the MFR has a neutral and reverse trans and also electric starter this DMT doesnt have except the 2.4ghz TX/RX.

Thumbs up if you want it!
SPRCVIDEO Says:
There is one! ;o) Check my other videos and you're see the DMT VE, which is a brushless electric version.
Ichigo1kurosaki Says:

I'll get my Kyosho DMT GP tomorrow :-)
SPRCVIDEO Says:
It's a matter of preference. The buggy is more nimble and has better handling overall, but the truck can run on a wider range of terrain and can handle bigger jumps as a result of the bigger tires. That's a personal choice.
SPRCVIDEO Says:
It's not available just yet. It should be out in about a month.
SPRCVIDEO Says:
@kawasaki6697 Haha! It's not going to hurt it, so it was a good laugh.;o)
