Yeah, N the crazy thing is, this show was considered edgy N really pushing the boundaries for its time. I understand the censors were always on their backs!

Mike: There are a lot of S's in Mississippi.
Byron: Yes, but there are a lot of nice folks, too.
That was so beautifully subtle... I had to rewind a couple of times to catch it.

This was when comedy was funny without all the foul language they have today. Most comedians today think it's funny to say #@$%%^ to get a laugh.

The shotgun joke is from earlier in the episode, during the Good/Bad sequence (the video is posted). And for those of you that still don't get the joke: Good - stage, as in performing; Bad - stage, as in stagecoach. As for the "page" add on, it's either an inside joke or from another part of the episode not uploaded.

@discoqueen1970: You misunderstood my comment. I'm saying that those comedians would have been filthy without the censorship of the day. I agree that it is a good thing to keep fowl language and topics off of entertainment shows. I'm also saying that those same comedians kept pushing the bounderies of taste and decency until all we're left with is the crap in pop culture today. I can't take my six year old out in public without hearing someone in a store drop the f bomb.
