Also, the interesting fact concerning this F/O is that he is also an airline pilot with over 30 years experience. He assumed F/O positon due to staff cutbacks with the Airlines. Between he & Sullenburger, there was over 60 years experience. The "teamwork" these guys demonsttated was Phenomenal. Although sure of himself, Sully still asked Jeff for his professional input & experience to assure they had touched all basis.

they should rather have a specified, more professional ATC reserved just for emergencies... not that this one wasn't professional.. or someone else should have taken care of the other planes.. anyhow,, everything is under the hands of the pilot. atc is just for the help..
