Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is based off of Counter-Strike, a game that was originally released in 2000. The very first Call of Duty game was released in 2003. If anything, Call of Duty copied Counter-Strike.

Looks pretty solid. Don't know why people are disliking the game, it's pretty much going to be the same as 1.6, but with more improved graphics, map improvements and will still keep the gameplay feel that 1.6 gave us. I am excited to play this, and I'm glad that console players will get to experience what they've been missing for a few years.
